Our Team

Our principals, Korak Mitra and Ken Rousseau, have 20+ years of collective experience as SEC licensed investment bankers registered at Burch & Co, while also working at Palmares Advisors. Korak was a co-founder of Palmares Advisors with Clyde Foster in 2010 and Ken joined in 2017. During that time, Korak and Ken have helped 20+ tech companies like yours find good exits.

We have now launched our own firm KK Merger Advisors, while remaining registered banking representatives at Burch & Co. We believe we can help your tech startup find a good exit if you have a disruptive technology with enough customers to prove a product/market fit.

We focus on Enterprise & Cloud SW/SaaS and Semiconductor Technology that we believe is disruptive. We can help you find strategic buyers with complementary products, a large customer base, and an existing sales force, so the buyer can scale up sales of your technology, putting it in the hands of many more customers.

A Different Sort of Banker

Our principals collectively had 50+ years of pre-banking experience as senior executives at both tech giants and tech startups. We do not have associates and we only work with a small number of clients instead of the typical pyramid at most investment banks. Thus, we provide a high-touch service unlike many banks.

We have walked in both the target buyer’s shoes and in your shoes, and we can appreciate the value in your technology that may not be reflected in your financials. We are happy to engage with startups without giant revenue streams, as long as there are enough customers to eliminate arguments about product/market fit.

Also we can represent your technology and company at scale without needing your time, until the buyer is strongly qualified. In this way, we strive to get you multiple offers, enhancing your negotiating leverage.

M&A Services

Our goal is to get multiple offers to maximize your leverage. To this end, we offer the full gamut of services including:

What Do We Not Do

We do not engage with tech startups that are looking to raise growth capital. However, we are happy to talk to you and discuss potential capital sources and our recommended approach to approach these capital sources.

We do not engage on M&A with tech startups that have not yet proven product/market fit with enough customers/revenue. However, we are happy to talk to you about your situation and make some suggestions about potential ways to establish that proof.
